Zhangye Danxia National Geopark (Rainbow Mountains), covering an area of 322 square kilometers, is located in the northern part of China about midway along theborder with Mongolia. It rests in the foothills of theQilian Mountains, the rock formations and rolling hills almost look as if they were painted. It would say that Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park isthe most colorfulnational park.
