Day 1: Arrival in Dubai — Welcome to the City of Gold

Arrive at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Your representative greets you for a private transfer to your 3-star hotel in Deira or Bur Dubai. After settling in, the afternoon is yours to relax or explore the neighborhood. In the evening, visit the Dubai Gold Souk — one of the world’s largest gold markets with over 300 retailers displaying intricate 22k and 24k gold jewelry, diamonds, and precious gems. The glittering displays and the aroma of oud and spices from the adjacent Spice Souk create an unforgettable sensory experience. Day 2: Dubai City Tour — Old & New

After breakfast, embark on a full-day Dubai city tour. Begin at Dubai Creek, the historic saltwater inlet that divides the city into Deira and Bur Dubai and was the original port around which Dubai’s trade economy developed. Cross the creek aboard a traditional abra (water taxi) — these wooden boats have ferried passengers across the creek for over a century for just 1 AED. Visit the Gold Souk and Spice Souk in Deira, where merchants have traded for generations. Drive along Jumeirah Beach Road, stopping for a photo at the iconic Burj Al Arab, the sail-shaped 7-star hotel on its own man-made island. Visit Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a modern recreation of a traditional Arab marketplace with wind towers, waterways, and views of the Burj Al Arab. Afternoon: ascend the Burj Khalifa to the 124th-floor observation deck “At The Top” — soaring 452 meters above the city, the views stretch across the desert to the Arabian Gulf. Descend into The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall by total area with over 1,200 retail outlets, the Dubai Aquarium (one of the world’s largest suspended aquariums), an Olympic-sized ice rink, and a waterfall cascading through all four levels. Evening: watch the Dubai Fountain show — the world’s tallest performing fountain shoots water 150 meters into the air, choreographed to classical, Arabic, and world music. Overnight in Dubai.

Day 3: Desert Safari — Dune Bashing, Camel Ride & BBQ Under the Stars

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, depart for the ultimate desert safari experience in a 4×4 Land Cruiser. Drive to the Lahbab Desert, known for its deep red dunes stretching as far as the eye can see. The adventure begins with dune bashing — an exhilarating 30-45 minute drive over the dunes as your skilled driver navigates the steep sandy slopes at thrilling angles. Stop at a high dune for spectacular sunset photos as the sand transforms from gold to deep orange. Arrive at a traditional Bedouin-style desert camp where you will experience: a short camel ride across the sands; henna painting by local artists; the opportunity to dress in traditional Arabic attire for photos; shisha (water pipe) in the designated smoking area; and a sumptuous BBQ dinner with grilled meats, salads, hummus, and Arabic sweets. As you dine, enjoy live entertainment under the starlit desert sky: a mesmerizing belly dance performance, a whirling Tanoura dancer in a colorfully lit costume, and a fire show. Return to your hotel late evening. Overnight in Dubai.

Day 4: Abu Dhabi — Grand Mosque, Corniche & Heritage

After breakfast, drive 90 minutes south along the coast to Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital and richest emirate. First stop: the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — one of the world’s largest mosques, capable of holding 41,000 worshippers. The mosque features 82 white marble domes, 1,096 columns inlaid with amethyst and jasper, the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet (weighing 35 tons), and seven 24-karat gold-plated chandeliers imported from Germany. The reflective pools surrounding the mosque amplify its beauty, creating a breathtaking mirror effect. Drive along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, an 8-kilometer waterfront promenade with manicured parks, pristine beaches, and views of the modern skyline. Visit Heritage Village, a reconstruction of a traditional oasis community showcasing Bedouin life before the oil boom — see barasti (palm frond) houses, a working falaj irrigation system, and artisans demonstrating pottery, weaving, and metalwork. Photo stop at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, the gold-dispensing luxury hotel. Return to Dubai in the evening. Overnight in Dubai.

Day 5: Departure from Dubai

After breakfast, enjoy your last morning in Dubai. Depending on your flight time, you may have a few hours for last-minute shopping at The Dubai Mall or exploring the historic Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (Al Bastakiya), with its narrow lanes, wind-tower houses, art galleries, and the Dubai Museum. Transfer to Dubai International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you memories of gleaming skyscrapers, golden dunes, and the timeless beauty of the Arabian desert.
