Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Libreville Arrival
Welcome at Libreville International Airport. Transfer to Radisson Blu for overnight. Evening briefing on the upcoming safari adventure.
Day 2: Flight to Loango National Park
Scenic helicopter transfer over the equatorial rainforest to Loango Lodge. Afternoon nature walk along the lagoon, spotting red-capped mangabeys and forest buffalo. Sunset cruise with chances of seeing hippos surfing in the waves.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Forest Elephants
Early morning gorilla trek in Moukalaba-Doudou National Park, tracking western lowland gorillas through dense rainforest with expert Ba’aka trackers. Afternoon game drive to Tassi Camp area, searching for forest elephants wandering along pristine white-sand beaches.
Day 4: River Safari & Turtle Nesting
Morning river safari on the Mpivie River, spotting crocodiles, sitatunga antelope, and diverse birdlife. Afternoon at Pte. Ste. Catherine, home to endangered leatherback turtles (seasonal November-February). Evening sundowner overlooking the Atlantic.
Day 5: Departure
Final morning wildlife viewing. Helicopter transfer back to Libreville. Connect to international flight.
