Itinerary Highlights
Days 1-2: Tahiti
Arrive Tahiti, explore Papeete’s markets and waterfront, visit the Arahoho Blowhole, Vaipahi Water Gardens, and the Gauguin Museum. Two nights in Tahiti.
Days 3-5: Moorea — The Magical Island
Fast ferry (30 min) to Moorea, the heart-shaped island that inspired James Michener’s “Bali Hai.” The jagged peaks of Mount Rotui and Cook’s Bay are so dramatic they look computer-generated. Activities: dolphin watching expedition, ATV tour to the Belvedere Lookout for views of both Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay, and snorkeling with humpback whales (July-November season). The Moorea lagoon is arguably better than Bora Bora’s for snorkeling — less crowded, more pristine coral. Three nights in Moorea.
Days 6-9: Bora Bora
Fly to Bora Bora. Four nights in an overwater bungalow: lagoon safari with sharks and rays, Coral Garden snorkeling, 4×4 safari to WWII relics on Mount Otemanu, sunset Champagne cruise, and the island’s only restaurant row at Vaitape. Free time to kayak, paddleboard, or simply lie on your deck watching the lagoon change color through the day.
Day 10: Depart via Tahiti
Flight to Tahiti, connect to international departure.
