In the afternoon, take a 15-minute driving trip to Patan City and tour the Patan Durbar Square. You will visit the Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple) whose lofty white dome and glittering golden spire are visible from many miles away and from all sides of Kathmandu Valley.
