Day 3: Bangkok to Chiang Mai
Fly to Chiang Mai. Visit Doi Suthep Temple, perched on a mountain with panoramic views over the city. Evening at the Night Bazaar. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 4: Chiang Mai Hill Tribes
Drive into the mountains to visit a Karen (Long Neck) hill tribe village. Learn about their traditions and crafts. Afternoon visit to an orchid farm. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 5: Chiang Rai — White Temple
Scenic drive to Chiang Rai. Visit Wat Rong Khun, the stunning White Temple — a contemporary art masterpiece in temple form. See the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) and the Black House (Baan Dam Museum). Overnight in Chiang Rai.
Day 6: Golden Triangle & Mekong
Visit the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet at the Mekong River. Boat trip on the Mekong. Visit the Hall of Opium Museum. Drive to Chiang Mai. Farewell Khantoke dinner with traditional Lanna dance. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
