Day 1: Arrive Aruba — Palm Beach Welcome
Arrive at Queen Beatrix International Airport. Transfer to your beachfront resort on Palm Beach, Aruba’s most famous two-mile stretch of white sand and impossibly turquoise water. Afternoon at leisure: sink into a beach lounger, order your first Aruba Ariba (the island’s signature cocktail), and watch the trade winds ripple through the palms. Welcome dinner at a beachfront restaurant—perhaps the Flying Fishbone with tables in the sand and your feet in the water. Overnight Palm Beach (6 nights).
Day 2: Arikok National Park & the Wild East Coast
Full-day 4×4 adventure into Arikok National Park, covering nearly 20% of the island. This is Aruba’s wild side: a landscape of cacti forests, dramatic limestone cliffs, and hidden caves decorated with Arawak petroglyphs. Visit the Guadirikiri and Fontein Caves with their ancient rock art. Hike to the Conchi Natural Pool (Cura di Tortuga), a volcanic rock-enclosed swimming hole reached by a rugged trail through the desert. Afternoon at Boca Prins and Dos Playa, remote beaches on the wind-battered east coast where massive waves crash against limestone cliffs. Day 3: Catamaran Sail & Snorkeling — The Caribbean Blue
Morning catamaran cruise along Aruba’s leeward coast. Sail past Palm Beach and Malmok, dropping anchor at the Antilla shipwreck—a 400-foot German freighter scuttled in 1940, now one of the Caribbean’s largest and most accessible wrecks, teeming with tropical fish. Continue to Boca Catalina for snorkeling with sea turtles in crystal-clear shallows. Open bar and lunch on board. Day 4: Oranjestad & Cultural Aruba
Morning exploration of Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital with its distinctive Dutch Caribbean architecture painted in cheerful pastels. Visit the Aruba Historical Museum in Fort Zoutman (1798) and the Willem III Tower. Browse the main street’s luxury shops and local artisan markets. Afternoon visit to the Aruba Aloe Factory and Museum—Aruba was once the world’s largest aloe exporter—to learn about the ‘miracle plant’ and its centuries-old connection to the island. Late afternoon at Eagle Beach, consistently ranked among the world’s top beaches, for swimming and the famous fofoti trees silhouetted against the sunset. Overnight Palm Beach.
Day 5: Island Highlights & Beach Day
Morning visit to the Bushiribana Gold Mill ruins, a haunting 19th-century stone smelter on the windswept north coast, remnant of Aruba’s brief gold rush. Continue to the Alto Vista Chapel (1750), a tiny bright-yellow church on a hilltop with panoramic views. Then to Baby Beach in the island’s far south, a sheltered half-moon lagoon with waist-deep turquoise water—perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Lunch at a local beach shack. Afternoon visit to San Nicolas, Aruba’s ‘Sunrise City,’ known for its vibrant street art murals painted by international artists. Overnight Palm Beach.
Day 6: Free Day — Your Aruba
A day to design yourself. Options: take a sunset horseback ride along the north coast; try kitesurfing at Boca Grandi; scuba dive at the Pedernales or Jane Sea wrecks; play golf at Tierra del Sol’s Robert Trent Jones II course; visit the Donkey Sanctuary; or simply do nothing on one of the world’s best beaches. Farewell dinner at a top restaurant—perhaps Wilhelmina or Screaming Eagle for fine dining, or Zeerover for the freshest catch in a casual setting right on the water. Overnight Palm Beach.
Day 7: Departure
