Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Lusaka, fly to Mfuwe. Transfer to South Luangwa bush camp. Afternoon game drive. Overnight.

Day 2: Morning walking safari with armed scout — track leopards, elephants, and lions on foot. Afternoon game drive and night drive. Overnight Luangwa.

Day 3: Full-day walking safari deep into the park with bush lunch. Evening sundowner over the Luangwa River. Overnight Luangwa.

Day 4: Morning game drive. Fly to Lower Zambezi National Park. Settle into riverside lodge. Afternoon canoe orientation and short paddle. Overnight Lower Zambezi.

Day 5: Full-day canoe safari on the Zambezi — drift silently past elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and spectacular birdlife. Rivers and channels lined with winterthorn forests. Bush lunch on a sandbar island. Overnight Lower Zambezi.

Day 6: Morning canoe or walking safari. Afternoon tiger fishing on the Zambezi — one of the world’s greatest freshwater game fish. Overnight Lower Zambezi.

Day 7: Canoe to Mana Pools (Zimbabwe side visible across the river). Game drive in the park’s interior — lions, leopards, wild dogs possible. Farewell sundowner cruise on the Zambezi. Overnight.

Day 8: Final morning canoe. Fly to Lusaka. Departure.
