Day 1: Arrive Tunis — Sidi Bou Said & Carthage

Airport greeting and transfer to Sidi Bou Said. Afternoon exploring the blue-and-white village. Visit Carthage: the Antonine Baths and Byrsa Hill with panoramic views. Welcome dinner in a converted Dar. Overnight near Tunis.

Day 2: Tunis Medina & Bardo Museum

Morning at the Bardo Museum: the world’s finest collection of Roman mosaics in a stunning former palace. Afternoon wandering the Tunis Medina (UNESCO) — souks, spices, perfumes, and the Zitouna Mosque. Overnight near Tunis.

Day 3: Dougga & Kairouan

Early drive to Dougga (UNESCO) — Rome’s best-preserved African city. Afternoon in Kairouan: the Great Mosque with its forest of 414 ancient columns, the Aghlabid Basins, and the carpet souks. Overnight in Kairouan.

Day 4: El Jem & Sousse

Visit the magnificent El Jem Colosseum (UNESCO) — larger than its better-known counterpart in Rome? Almost! Explore Sousse Medina (UNESCO) and the Ribat fortress. Afternoon at the beach (seasonal). Farewell dinner. Overnight in Sousse.

Day 5: Depart Tunis

Return to Tunis. Last visit to Sidi Bou Said for mint tea. Airport transfer.
