Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Colombo, transfer to Sigiriya region via Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Overnight Sigiriya.

Day 2: Sunrise climb of Sigiriya Lion Rock. Afternoon: Minneriya National Park safari — famous for “The Gathering” of Asian elephants (up to 300 in one place). Overnight Sigiriya.

Day 3: Polonnaruwa ancient city (full morning exploration). Afternoon: Dambulla Cave Temple. Overnight Sigiriya.

Day 4: Transfer to Kandy via Matale Spice Garden and Aluvihara Cave Temple. Evening Temple of the Tooth and cultural show. Overnight Kandy.
