Morning: walking tour of the horseshoe-shaped Carenage — colorful Georgian buildings, fishing boats, and the Christ of the Deep statue (a gift from Costa Rica’s cruise company, commemorating the Bianca C wreck). Visit Fort George (1705) for panoramic views of the harbor and town. Explore the Grenada National Museum. Afternoon: Market Square — the spice market where nutmeg, cinnamon, mace, cloves, and turmeric fill the air with their intoxicating aromas. Overnight at Grand Anse.

Day 3: Grenada’s Spice Heritage — Nutmeg & Chocolate

Morning at Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Station — see how Grenada’s signature spice is processed from fruit to finished product. Grenada produces one-third of the world’s nutmeg. Visit the Belmont Estate, a 300-year-old working plantation — tour the organic cocoa fields and chocolate-making facility. The 60-minute bean-to-bar tour ends with a tasting of Grenada’s award-winning organic chocolate. Lunch at the estate’s farm-to-table restaurant. Overnight at Grand Anse.

Day 4: Grand Etang Rainforest & Waterfalls

Drive into the interior to Grand Etang National Park. Hike through the rainforest surrounding Grand Etang Lake, a crater lake at 1,740 feet. Keep an eye out for Mona monkeys, armadillos, and tropical birds including the Grenada dove — the national bird. Visit Annandale Falls, a 30-foot waterfall plunging into a crystal-clear pool perfect for swimming. Local divers perform acrobatic jumps from the top. Afternoon at Concord Falls, a series of three waterfalls in the lush interior. Overnight at Grand Anse.

Day 5: Underwater Sculpture Park & Sandy Island

Morning boat excursion to the world’s first underwater sculpture park in Molinere Bay. Snorkel among 75 life-size sculptures by artist Jason deCaires Taylor, now encrusted with coral and teeming with marine life — an extraordinary fusion of art and nature. Afternoon cruise to Sandy Island, a tiny uninhabited cay surrounded by turquoise water. Beach barbecue and rum punch. This is classic Grenada — authentic, uncrowded, and breathtakingly beautiful. Day 6: Depart Grenada
