Itinerary Highlights

Day 1-2: Tbilisi Discovery

Arrival and two full days in Tbilisi: Old Town, Narikala Fortress, sulfur baths, Rustaveli Avenue, museums, and the modern architecture. Welcome supra feast. Overnight in Tbilisi (Rooms Hotel or similar).

Day 3-4: Kazbegi & the High Caucasus

Drive the Georgian Military Highway. Truso Valley off-road exploration with mineral springs and abandoned villages. Gergeti Trinity Church at dawn with perfect lighting. Overnight at Rooms Hotel Kazbegi with floor-to-ceiling Caucasus views.

Day 5-6: Kakheti Wine Country

Sighnaghi, Tsinandali Estate, and exclusive winery visits including Pheasant’s Tears and Shumi. Master wine class with a qvevri master. Telavi’s royal Bagrationi palace. Overnight in a converted wine chateau.

Day 7: Uplistsikhe & Gori

Ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe. Visit Gori and the Uplistsikhe Museum-Reserve. Continue to Borjomi for the evening. Overnight in Borjomi.

Day 8: Vardzia & Akhaltsikhe

Spectacular Vardzia cave monastery. Rabati Castle exploration. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 9: Kutaisi & Gelati

UNESCO Bagrati Cathedral and Gelati Monastery. Prometheus Cave with its underground rivers and light show. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 10: Martvili Canyon & Svaneti Towers

Boat through Martvili Canyon’s turquoise waters. Transfer to Mestia in the heart of Svaneti. Walk among medieval tower houses. Overnight in Mestia.

Day 11: Depart from Kutaisi or Tbilisi

Morning in Mestia. Transfer to Kutaisi International Airport or return to Tbilisi. Farewell, Georgia!
