Arrival in Tokyo
Welcome to Japan! Private airport transfer to your hotel in central Tokyo. Evening stroll through Shinjuku — neon lights, izakaya bars, and the energy of the world largest city. Welcome dinner at a local sushi restaurant.
Tokyo — Tradition & Future
Morning at Meiji Shrine and Harajuku. Afternoon exploring Asakusa Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise shopping street. Evening at Shibuya Crossing — the world busiest intersection — followed by a panoramic view from Shibuya Sky.
Hakone — Hot Springs & Mt. Fuji
Bullet train to Hakone. Pirate ship cruise across Lake Ashi with views of Mount Fuji, ropeway over volcanic Owakudani Valley, and soak in natural hot springs at a traditional ryokan with kaiseki dinner.
Kyoto — Temples & Geishas
Shinkansen to Kyoto. Afternoon at Fushimi Inari — 10,000 vermillion torii gates winding up the mountainside. Evening walk through Gion district, where geiko and maiko still entertain in hidden tea houses.
Kyoto — Bamboo & Zen
Morning at Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Tenryu-ji Temple. Afternoon: Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), then a private tea ceremony with a tea master in a traditional machiya townhouse.
Nara — Sacred Deer & Buddhism
Day trip to Nara — bow to sacred deer in Nara Park, stand beneath Todai-ji Great Buddha (the world largest bronze Buddha), and wander Kasuga Taisha with its 3,000 stone lanterns.
