Diriyah was founded in the 15th century and became the capital of the first Saudi state in 1744, under the leadership of Muhammad ibn Saud and Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, and it was the center of the Wahhabi movement and the first Saudi state). Visit the At-Turaif District (the historic center of Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its stunning mud-brick palaces, houses, mosques, and the beautiful historic architecture. Visit the Salwa Palace (the largest palace in At-Turaif, the former residence of the Saudi royal family, with its stunning architecture and its museum), the various other palaces and houses, the mosques, and the beautiful historic streets and alleys. Morning depart Riyadh for the Edge of the World (Jebel Fihrayn, a stunning natural wonder located about 2-3 hours northwest of Riyadh, a dramatic cliff edge with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding desert and the distant mountains, one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Saudi Arabia. The Edge of the World is part of the Tuwaiq Escarpment, a long cliff that runs through central Saudi Arabia, and it offers breathtaking views of the desert below and the distant horizon). Take a 4×4 ride into the desert to the Edge of the World, enjoy the beautiful desert scenery along the way. Upon arrival, hike to the edge of the cliff and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding desert, the distant mountains, and the beautiful horizon. Walk along the cliff edge and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Visit the nearby desert and enjoy the beautiful desert landscapes, the rock formations, and the peaceful atmosphere.
