Morning walking tour of La Boca (Caminito), San Telmo antique market, and the colorful tomb of Evita in Recoleta Cemetery. Afternoon in Palermo Soho. Evening tango lesson.
Buenos Aires to El Calafate
Flight to El Calafate — gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. Afternoon at leisure in this charming Patagonian town on the shores of Lago Argentino.
Perito Moreno Glacier
Full day at Perito Moreno — one of the few advancing glaciers in the world. Walk the catwalks as building-sized chunks of ice calve into the lake with a thunderous roar. Optional ice trekking on the glacier itself.
Iguazu Falls — Argentina Side
Flight to Puerto Iguazú. Afternoon on the Argentine side — walk the catwalks OVER the Devil Throat, feel the spray as the river plunges 80 meters.
Iguazu Falls — Brazil Side
Cross to the Brazilian side for the panoramic view — 275 waterfalls stretching across the horizon. Boat ride to the base of the falls. Jungle walk for toucans, coatis, and butterflies.
Return to Buenos Aires
