Itinerary Highlights

Days 1-2: Edinburgh

Arrive Edinburgh. Two full days exploring the capital: Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat hike, Royal Yacht Britannia, and the Scotch Whisky Experience. Evening food tour of Edinburgh’s best restaurants.

Days 3-4: Stirling & Loch Lomond

Visit Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Cruise Loch Lomond, Britain’s largest lake. Hike in the Trossachs National Park. Overnight in a lochside hotel.

Days 5-6: Oban & Inner Hebrides

Travel to Oban, Scotland’s seafood capital. Ferry to the Isle of Mull — visit Tobermory’s colorful waterfront and Duart Castle. Day trip to the sacred Isle of Iona, birthplace of Celtic Christianity.

Days 7-8: Fort William & Glencoe

Ride the Jacobite Steam Train (the “Hogwarts Express”) across the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Hike in the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest peak. Walk the dramatic Valley of Glencoe.

Days 9-10: Isle of Skye

Two full days on Skye: the Quiraing, Fairy Pools, Neist Point lighthouse. Boat trip to see seals and sea eagles. Relax in the island’s artisan cafes and distilleries.

Days 11-12: Inverness & Cairngorms

Visit Culloden Battlefield and the Bronze Age Clava Cairns. Search for bottlenose dolphins in the Moray Firth. Explore the Cairngorms National Park — Britain’s largest.

Days 13-14: Perthshire & St Andrews

Drive through Perthshire’s “Big Tree Country.” Visit St Andrews: the Old Course, the university where Prince William met Kate, and the cathedral ruins. Farewell dinner with traditional Scottish music.

Day 15: Edinburgh Departure

Return to Edinburgh for departure. Optional 2-day Edinburgh extension.
