Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Colombo, transfer to Negombo. Beach relaxation, sunset seafood dinner. Overnight Negombo.

Day 2: Drive to Anuradhapura — Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, Isurumuniya temple. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Day 3: Anuradhapura morning — Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, Mihintale (birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka). Drive to Sigiriya. Overnight Sigiriya.

Day 4: Climb Sigiriya Rock at sunrise. Afternoon: Polonnaruwa ancient city — Gal Vihara, royal palace, lotus pond. Overnight Sigiriya.

Day 5: Dambulla Cave Temple, Matale Spice Garden, Aluvihara Rock Cave Temple. Arrive Kandy. Temple of the Tooth evening puja. Overnight Kandy.
