Arrival. Drive to Cirque de Salazie (UNESCO). Visit Hell-Bourg (one of France’s most beautiful villages), Voile de la Mariée waterfall, vanilla plantation. Overnight in Salazie mountain lodge.
Day 2: Piton de la Fournaise — Active Volcano Hike
Full-day volcano expedition: Pas de Bellecombe viewpoint, hike across the lunar landscape of cooled lava, ascend to Dolomieu Crater rim, explore lava tunnels. One of the world’s most active and accessible volcanoes. Overnight in Bourg-Murat.
Day 3: Wild South Coast & Beaches
Lava road through Grand Brûlé, Cap Méchant cliffs, Grande Anse beach, Saint-Pierre waterfront. Farewell seafood dinner. Overnight in Saint-Pierre.
Day 4: Depart
Return to Saint-Denis. Botanical Garden, vanilla shopping. Airport transfer.
