Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). Transfer to your resort on the Platinum Coast (west coast) — calm turquoise waters, white sand, and legendary sunsets. Welcome rum punch and orientation. Overnight at The Club Barbados Resort & Spa or similar.
Day 2: Journey underground at Harrison’s Cave, Barbados’s greatest natural wonder. Board an electric tram that winds through massive caverns of stalactites, stalagmites, and crystalline streams flowing over limestone formations millions of years in the making. Visit the “Great Hall,” a chamber 50 meters high. Afternoon tour of Mount Gay Rum Distillery, established in 1703 — the oldest commercial rum distillery in the world. Learn the art of rum-making from molasses fermentation to barrel aging, then participate in a guided tasting of Mount Gay’s finest expressions.
Day 3: Full-day catamaran cruise along the west coast. Swim with wild Hawksbill and Green sea turtles in the crystal-clear waters off Carlisle Bay. Snorkel over three shipwrecks in the bay’s marine park, now artificial reefs teeming with tropical fish. Anchor at a secluded beach for a Bajan-style BBQ lunch with flying fish — the national dish. Afternoon sail with rum punches as the coastline drifts by.
Day 4: Explore Barbados beyond the beach. Drive along the dramatic Atlantic east coast through the Scotland District — wild surf, coral cliffs, and the island’s most rugged scenery.
