Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Koror
Arrive and transfer to hotel. Sunset at the Rock Islands viewpoint — the iconic view of mushroom-shaped islands that defines Palau. Welcome dinner. Overnight in Koror.
Day 2: Jellyfish Lake & Milky Way
Boat excursion to Jellyfish Lake for the unforgettable experience of snorkeling among millions of golden jellyfish. At Milky Way: slather yourself in white volcanic mud for a natural spa. Afternoon: snorkeling at Clam City, where giant clams up to 4 feet wide and weighing 500 lbs have lived for over 100 years. Overnight in Koror.
Day 3: Rock Islands Kayaking & Hidden Lagoons
Full-day sea kayaking through the Rock Islands’ maze of channels and hidden marine lakes. Paddle through narrow tunnels that open into turquoise lagoons ringed by limestone cliffs. Snorkeling stops at secluded spots inaccessible to boats. Picnic on a deserted beach. Overnight in Koror.
Day 4: Peleliu & Reef Snorkeling
Speedboat to Peleliu. Morning: easy snorkeling at Peleliu’s reef wall — the coral starts in just 3 feet of water. Abundant reef fish, sea turtles, and occasional reef sharks. Afternoon: WWII history tour of the island. Return to Koror. Overnight in Koror.
Day 5: Babeldaob Cultural Day
Full day on Babeldaob. Visit the Badrulchau Stone Monoliths and traditional bai. Ngardmau Waterfall hike and swim. Visit a taro patch to learn about Palau’s staple crop and matrilineal land system. Afternoon at a local village for traditional storyboard carving demonstration. Overnight in Koror.
Day 6: Ngemelis & Blue Corner Snorkeling
Final day on the water. Snorkel at Ngemelis Wall, where the reef drops from 3 feet to 1,000+ feet — drift along the wall top in gin-clear water watching reef sharks, turtles, and eagle rays cruise below. Afternoon: snorkel the shallows near Blue Corner (while divers go deep, snorkelers see plenty from the surface). Farewell dinner at a traditional Palauan feast. Overnight in Koror.
Day 7: Depart Palau
Morning at the aquarium. Transfer to airport.
